China last week
 

At the weekend few people asked me about my visit last week to China, and of any pics. It was a week of work really, not much time for photo's so I only really got a few snaps - so some here....

I am a very untravelled person, so some of these may seem a bit normal to some folk - but, to a lad from Burnley, Shanghai was like life on another planet.

Ive spent a lot of time in Shanghai and had some great times there, Its a fascinating place.

If you are into living with 40 million other people in 40deg heat then I can see why it would be your sort of thing.

I was glad to get back home for a nice chicken-dinner and a pint of proper beer.

Thats a fair point, for sure I would avoid going in the summer !

Yep - when I was there in June it was the maddest craziest place I have ever been too! I have a relative whos about to move out there and Im not sure I envy him.

Me thinks its a very similar feeling being a boy from Bolton in Shanghai;)

By the end of the week I was getting into the swing of it but glad to get home..

Shanghai seen from the more peacful and what ppl callboring area of Shanghai - me I found it peacful and boring and loved it!

I think your pic there is from the Pudong side?
The Shanghai side is not peacful.

Yep - the photo I stuck up is taken from Pudong but is of the maddness that is Shanghai.
I went over on my final day to Pudong and its like a different world compared to Shanghai propper which is crazier than any trip!

I had a chines last week it was pudong, wont be using that one again
