Ellis takes title & Cragg dominates - Southport National
 

The recently held Southport National - the penultimate in the 2008 BRCA National series, saw the 2WD title decided early, with another TQ and win for Ellis Stafford driving the XFactory X6.
Ellis was in command and took three qualifying rounds to take the TQ - and won the second and third A final legs to take the meeting - and with the valuable points secure the 2WD championship title in the process.


Neil Cragg had a surprise up his sleeve in the 4WD event - the new Yokomo BMax had made it afterall. After Yokomo flew around the world to deliver the car the Thursday before the event, Neil didn't hold back, taking all four rounds of qualifying and the first two A final legs. Only a win from Lee Martin in leg three with Cragg second, stopped a 'total domination' from the Craggster.

The report is linked on the yokomo japan website - so basically you have loads of Japanese fellows that can't read english going to the report, and the first thing they see is a half naked Northy holding a sharp thing - THAT is ace.

I think it was because half the track was in bright sunlight but the other half (back section) was in the shade and it was hard to see the cars so Big E stuck a Big Yellow wing on the car. I think this was the only reason, im not sure if it had any more or less gurney :)

I think its because he wanted his car to look so random it would put everyone off

im guessing its a lent wing as it dosnt sit over the shock tower with the two oval cut out for a forword position

or its just in case some marshall dosnt run out in front of his car

its the start of the yellow fade that ends in the front but is hiden by the blue?

he ran some one else car in the final with his shell?

he packed his stuff away and had a spare shell laying around , nicked some one else car and stuck his shell on it for the pic?

his daughter drew on the blue one?

he ran a yellow rear wing last time he was national champion and ran this one for the finals for good luck

Sad isnt the word Matt, I told Ellis what I thought of his yellow wing the other day and he assured me that his marriage to Jo is for real and he does not swing both ways and wear leather clad clothes at night!!!!! The "sad" thing is that Chazz quite likes it and the reason for it too!!!!

So its not a lent wing- he has a wing in that yellow for his BLUE shells with custom BLUE stickers !!!

is he going to have Im the leader Big E T shirts done with custom YELLOW wings
