Sky box problem
 

My sky + box has stopped working.
I have checked and tried several power leads .... No standby light
Checked the internal fuse. Its not blown and there is power past the fuse.

Could the box be dead?
Apart from buying a replacement box, any suggestions?

Is it a hd box if not make em send you a new box failing that they can be bought for about 10 quid but must be rematched to your card sky will do this :thumbsup:

see if can do a forced download, remove power plug from back then press & hold the back up button whilst putting in power plug an hold for 10 secs all the lights on front panel should come on, if all is well should take 10mins max depending on which brand box have could be quickier, once download complete takes about 4 mins to reboot.
