sanwa super exzes manual

Anyone a manual for my transmitter? Throttle-sensor might be broken...

My full throttle comes in to early (3/4 off the stick). Also gently starting is fairly impossible. So 2 options here:
1. potential meter of the throttle is dead
2. somewhere in the settings of the transmittor there might be a way to adjust the flow of the throttle....?

Anyone?

thanks

Simon

can't help with query but,

you can get a manual for £2.50 here

select the memory, move across to m-clear and press both the inc+ and inc- buttons at the same time, this will set that memory slot back to default settings.

if its the epa that needs adjusting then goto epa th,push forward on stick and use the inc+/- to adjust the forward throw..pullback on stick to do same for brakes.

Thanks for the tips dave g, I did the m-clear but then the problem was worse :eh?:
I borrowed a ko esprit 2 from a friend, and now I can drive smooth lines.
So problem solved :), have to get another transmitter.

Thanks

so whats happeing is that if you set the speedo up,your hitting full throttle before the stick reaches its full travel yes?

im guessing that the pot inside the radio has worked loose and its twisted round a few degrees so the pot is reaching its end point before the stick is..you can open the radio up and check the screw that locks the pot onto the stick movement is tight,if it has moved then its just a case of twisting it back round 1-2 degrees, connect your speedo up without motor and push stick fully forward, keep the stick jammed forward while you turn the loosened pot in its housing, watch for the high throttle light on the speedo and set it so it comes on at the right point.

Just had mine repaired with a similar problem, only mine had nothing forward but worked fine backwards. just needed a new pot.

If you have a multimeter measure the pot resistance and it should slowly increase/decrease in resistance as you move the stick. if there is a sudden step than thats your fault.

Maybe i am missing something here, why dont you just re set the speedo?

Speedo is fine, with the other transmitter (He has got my KO right now) everything works fine.

so there might just be a problem with the pot of the Sanwa.

If the pot is faulty, resetting the speedo wont work.

Swap the speedo and servo channels round on the receiver and see if the servo still operates smoothly on the throttle or if it suddenly jumps

something is def wrong with the pot meter. Will try tomorrow what Dave explains about the loose pot. If not, i will have to send it back to sanwa.
Thanks for all advice guys!
Thanks for ko transmitter janus 77 ;-)
