JConcepts 7″ wing for 22

Just saw this pop up on my Twitter feed.

Last Friday I tried to finish a race with no rear wing, and OH BOY! What a revelation, the car was SOOOoooo hard to control. Now I am curious about trying different wings or clipping wings differently as a tuning option.

Thoughts?

Yeah - no rear wing, not even worth running. Might as well have retired.
I've never understood people running with broken or dislodged wings, as imho one should always have a back-up in the pitbox.

Wings have gone through a growth phase the last couple of years or so - and while the kit wing is still an option (depending on the track you're running), there are "other" options out there one really should have tried whether it's the LMR wing or the earlier jconcepts high-clearance (6.5") wing that came out a year and a half ago.

I guess the thing I like about the JC wings is that they come in a 2-pack, which does allow me some of the "tuning options" you mentioned - as I can cut the wickerbill differently on one, and not be stuck with it as my only option.

My advice = always have a few different ones in the pitbox, as it will leave you with options (and it's surely better than trying to hobble around with a broken one ;) ).
