go with what you want team c people will say tm2 i would say durango personally schumacher people will say schueys they are all a much of muchness just go with what you want.

Any of the big players in RC racing make cars that work very well, Schumacher, Kyosho, Losi, Yokomo, Associated, Team C, Durango, etc and all are capable of winning in the right hands. Some drivers get on better with one car over another but often it's down to just working with your car to get a setup that suits your driving.

There are some very good deals to be had on the RTR Durango 210 if you are starting from scratch. The Losi 22 RTR is a tough car, I know this well as my son has tried extremely hard to break his, the spec is good from the box but it's not always the easiest car to setup. That said I think I'd be picking up a Durango RTR with current prices being so good.

Best is subjective, different drivers like different things.

I can confirm what paulj said about the Losi 22, it is a rolling brick. On Friday another buggy had an accident on the main straight and I literally split it in two with my Losi 22... Ooops... One TOUGH buggy!!!!

All I can say, if you are looking to get one, look deep into your specific demands and their priority, then see if some drivers trust you trying their car for a lap or two. Test several different ones and if you like one in particular, test several examples of that car.

Today I drove the Losi 22 for the first time and the X6 for the first time with a wheel transmitter - in fact I got to test two Losi 22s, and it immediately showed how it runs on different setups :) It's a very practical approach and a fun one! You might even learn one or two things about the setup of your current car (for example I noticed how much I have to 'work' my own car into getting around consistently).

I run 4wd and did pick up a yokomo bmax 2 as a lot of these seem to be running at my club at the moment, I've done 6 races with it and nothing's broke, it lands like its on air and its easy to maintain.

I run a speed passion 7.5

However the fastest guy in the club runs a durango, but that guy can drive like a demon.

The pros I know seem to be all centred round the xfactory cubed

If I had to guide you, I'd say prob go with something you can get advise on at your local club and can easily get spares for local.

4.2 associated are a good work horse

The best buggy is....the one you can get:

parts for locally/easily/cheapily or to your wallets liking
help/tips/setup from locally
raced at your club
the one you can afford or get to a price you like
the one your allowed to get (ok from the wife/mates/kids)

I think it plays a part as well:

the one you like the look of otherwise you won't want to run it or be seen with it.
