Spur Gear
 

I need a new 81T spur gear for our phoenix bx2. Can you use spur gear from any car if it has the same number of teeth. I can get one for a B4 which is cheaper than one for the phoenix, and seem in more plentiful supply.

The Phoenix uses a different slipper from the B4 but its a very common design. Its basically the same as used in all 1/12ths and I think most TC's too.

You don't need the same number of teeth, but a spur with less teeth will increase your gearing (more top speed, less acceleration and duration) and vice versa. It will also effect what sized pinion you can run.

Worst comes to the worst I can lend you one for my RC10T.
