losichris 13-04-2013 06:28 PM

Are we going to be racing in this weather?

Gavin Collingwood 13-04-2013 06:36 PM

What's up with you soft arse!

Cremegg 13-04-2013 06:38 PM

Good question...it's a long way to travel and realising there is no racing

Maddy 13-04-2013 06:50 PM

weather is supposed to be ok for tomorrow, maybe rain in the morning but rest of day is sunshine..........
we will see how true this is

Chris Elworthy 13-04-2013 06:54 PM

Even if there are a few areas that are waterlogged (which I doubt as I was down today and it was bone dry) we can build the track to miss them.

I dont mind a bit of rain as long as the track is not flooded. If it is i have a rc boat

birdy 13-04-2013 06:58 PM

Racing is a definite go.

We have tools on the shed to get rid of water on the track.

Maddy 13-04-2013 06:59 PM

love a wet track, real buggy control drifting the corners, brings back memories of racing 5th scale in all weather conditions.

Gavin Collingwood 13-04-2013 07:31 PM

People, we race OFF ROAD cars!! If you don't waterproof you cars sufficiently you'll have problems. I've been up there when i first got my rb6 and it was throwing it down the track was flooded in parts and the car was thrashing through puddled areas without any problem. As long as you use Velcro along the side of your chassis and bodyshell, it'll keep the majority, if not all the water away from your electrics

losichris 13-04-2013 08:13 PM

its the standing on rostrum getting soaked i dont fancy, sack the cars

Si Coe 13-04-2013 08:51 PM

Wear a coat!

You'll need one for marshalling too.....

Gavin Collingwood 13-04-2013 09:07 PM

Not dedicated mate, waterproof cost with a hood and a tranny muff..... Sorted. And a fishing umbrella to pit under. That kind of weather separates the men from the boys

SteDan 13-04-2013 09:37 PM

What time does the racing go on till. Busy in morning but we want to come across about 12.30 to watch. Will it all still be going on then?

Si Coe 13-04-2013 09:47 PM

Depends on numbers and weather but till around 4ish normally.

SteDan 13-04-2013 09:59 PM

Thank you that's great. See you tomorrow

Si Coe 14-04-2013 07:53 AM

Its cold, and its damp, but the sun is starting to break through the clouds - I think it might be a good one today

Lets RACE!!!
