0.6 module RW Racing do a steel pinion but not many shops stock them. I got mine from CPD Racing.

The RW ones are readily available as rebranded Ansmann Racing parts, I got loads from Modelsport. RW Racing actually directed me to them when I enquired about getting some a couple of years ago.
