how do you 'go' to your favourite websites?

most people have a daily visit to oOple as well as many of the other news sites,

I am interested in how you do this.

for example, do you have them all in your favourites and click each one when you fancy going there.

do you have IE7 or another browser with tabs that are set to load the site

or are you an address bar typer that starts to type the name of the site and then chooses it from the auto-complete?

let me know how you navigate the interweb....

I've got my most used sites on the main bar on FireFox so I can just click on them. Webmail, oOple, Server back end access - stuff like that. For other sites I usually use the auto complete thingybobwatsit.

pre-loaded tabs in firefox, plus I still am getting used to the auto-complete in firefox yet.

I have google as my homepage in firefox but on the toolbar I have a folder to open all my usual browsed at once in seperate tabs sites then a couple of rss feeds running in there.

I also have the search thingy in the top right of firefox set for google, imdb and wikipedia.

They are all in my IE7 favourites. I link to the 'New Posts' link so it runs the latest posts from the last visit automagically.

I use a Firefox addon called Fast Dial which looks like this:

IE7, have google set as home page and have customized it etc, then just select the webpage from the drop down menu. There are not many that I visit regular so they all tend to be at the top anyway.

ianjoyner 24-07-2008 07:27 AM

I just use the drop down history in the address bar.

FireFox & "Bookmarks/Bookmark All Tabs". You then later do "Bookmarks/Open All In Tabs". Or do an "end task" (or reboot / shutdown) on FireFox so it will ask if you want to "restore session" when starting it later...

Didn't know you could drop them on the toolbar, me like! :D

I have preloaded tabs in firefox for personal and pre loaded in IE7 for work.
