Hi-Tec and Intronics vintage chargers
 

Hi chaps.

I have two chargers from around the mid - late 80s.

The first is a Hi-Tec peak charger. I have an old Ni-Cad and it appeared to be charging it, however the Ni-Cad is also from the late 80s so no suprise that after the peak charger finished, the Ni-Cad had only 30 seconds life.

The second is an Intronics thermal charger. As you can see the temp gauge still works. Again I tried to charge the old Ni-Cad. It took about 15 minutes until the temp reached the 35 degree cut off it was set to. The old Ni-Cad again only had about 60 seconds of life.

I think both chargers will work and that it is the Ni-Cad that after 20 odd years is well stuffed.

I'm listing them on here, as I don't supose anybody on the general boards would want them. Frankly I would be suprised if anybody on here wants them!
