Speed passion revington r problems

Hi i was racing today after about 5 laps my car slowed down to around half power then on the last lap it died i thought may be my lipo was flat but upon checking it was ok now the esc will only turn motor if i turn the pinion first swapped the motor, lipo, sensor lead still nothing the esc only has done 30 mins. My setting have lipo cut out off temp cut out off as i know they can make the esc do funny things oh i was running a 7.5 turn motor with all the boost setting on low so it wasnt running mad settings ??????

Hi
I have had this problem on mine while running at chadderton got to near last laps cut on to half power , i lowered battery voltage cut off to no improvement i would Not recommend turning it off ,i was running a 6.5t motor i ended up getting a 8.5t motor which did the bloody same in the end i turned off the overheat function this cured this problem try to make sure there is a little bit of air gap round unit if possible .
think the unit overheats do to being less burst current draw than the pro unit and blipping throttle seemed to make it worse , in instructions it says a uprated fan can be purchased but i cannot seem to find where to buy from .
i had to put a hole in shell just above fan as well .
for every body else if your thinking of buying a reventon pay the extra and get a pro if your racing
hope it helps

I've been running mine in my 2wd with a 7.5 motor and had no issues at all. I run it with the fan on.

Mines in a Couger sv2 with the fan running I updated it to latest. Firmware when I bought it had a mess with it today firmware ect still nothing just a amber light. I have the same esc in my cat sx2 running a 6.5 motor with every thing turned up no probs put the latest firmware on that today and run it then that cut out so may be its a firmware problem on that but iam sure the one out of my cougar is up the wall

Try to check the whole parts of your car specifically the esc. Actually I've encountered this kind of problem but right after checking, it works well.

That's how i would fix it too. I have three R10 speedos all approaching 2 year old and never had an issue with any of them. Best speedo around.

Saying that, my Reventon R has never let me own.
