Short Plastic Chassis

I've seen team drivers using them, the cab forward shell is available so when are TD releasing the chassis?

hi there

the cab forward shell is for the +8mm plastic chassis.
there is no standard length plastic chassis.

just the dimec and the normal plastic chassis.
so all drivers drive the +8mm plastc chassis.

Few of the team drivers have tried a standard lenth plastic chassis . I know nathan did for couple rounds at worksop. But he used the +8 dimec20 at the last round and said it was better

the standard length cab forward shell is on the TD site but not in stock so they quite possibly r makin the short chassis

I was at Worksop and I can safely say that there definitely is.

lets hope the standard length plastic chassis is a lot stronger than the +8

I'm assuming it's the same mould with a piece taken out in the sidepod (there should be two lines over the width of the car where the wide part starts at the front of the sidepods) - it's a lot cheaper to build such a mould for variable wheelbases, so unless they are updating the mould I don't think it will be any different. Plus, I'd think any plastic chassis from Durango currently kind of have these durability issues?

There's not a lot wrong with the std length alloy chassis if you ask me .. nice bit of weight low down and if you want more flex just loosen a few of the chassis screws off ... works a treat
