Any racing near clacton on sea?

getting sent down to clacton on sea to work for the next couple of months

being a keen racer i was wondering if there was any racing nearby to keep me out the pub for an evening

I've got 1/10th buggies and a short course but wouldn't mind getting a touring car if there was racing available.

There's the Coastal Model Car Racing Club at Ipswich, not too far a drive from Clacton, buggies, short course and Touring cars.

All day on Sunday's mate, didn't read your first post well enough to notice the evening bit:blush:

There is evening racing in/near Bury St Edmunds, but that's a bit further to go, Monday's at Risby with the West Suffolk car club (ex Bury Buggy Club), or Wednesday's with Model Junction in Bury, but both really only run tourers, Model unction get quite a few of the Schumacher super stocks now.

There's also badley buggy club in needham market, about 45 mins from clacton.

They run 1/10 buggies & 1/8 nitro on most Thursday nights I think...
