Repairing Shark diff rings?

Hi all
Question, is it possible to fix some deeply grooved diff rings on my shark or is it time to bin and replace?. Both sides have grooves you can guide a train with. I did wonder why they went nice and smooth. Found it was the rings running on the diff gear and not the balls as grooves are that deep.
Got nice shiney diff gear now:lol: Ceramic balls are on my replacement list but dont want to bugger em up straight away.

Replace the rings or its pointless fitting ceramic balls.
