Rayspeed hubs?
Just fitted some of these to my X-6. I read on Ellis's set ups that he took 2mm off the hubs where the balls screw in. He talks of washers under the ballstud, I wondered if someone can tell me the washer thickness so I can fit the right ones. Also, in order to get 4deg of antisquat, what thickness of shimz should I use.
he uses 2mm of washers so it is the same height as standard anyway, but he likes thos choice to be able to lower the balstud :)
I have had my hubs lowered but to be honest I tend to always run them at the standard height.
When I say washers it is a Losi gold washer which I believe are just a touch over 1mm thick. For 4° squat use about a 1-2mm washer. E. |
Thanks very much. All gratefully received.

it seems that the rayspeed 0 deg rear hubs are always hard to get hold of - does anyone know if any shop has them in stock ?
DMS had another batch of them in
Cheers Lee, Yep we just brought the entire last batch that came into the UK, we currently have about 15 sets in stock (only the 0 dgree ones at present, we are still waiting for the optional 1/2 degree type)

What ones are best for the X6 0 or 0.5:confused:
depends how you want your car to feel :p most people use 0 degree i'd say though
0 deg, the back end is already "locked in" enough on the X6
Thanks lads:thumbsup:

I purchased some of these, and fitted them to my car with std bearings and std B4 bearing spacer, (this was on my X6). Notice one of them is binding.. Not sure anyone else has encountered this?
