Today is a good day
It's great when you come home from work and all this has turned up  Just waiting on a screw kit and fibre lyte parts
http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...7072008392.jpg Let the build commence! |
good choice :)
I got the Nortech screw kit and blue bling for mine - well recommended  |
Yeah I've got the Nortech screw kit on the way too, hopefully it will be here today. I built the shocks, diffs, slipper and tunrbuckles last night and I got 3 coats of paint on the shell. Hopefully it should all be up and running for racing tomorrow.
This is my 2nd associated kit, the other one was an RC10T2 (around 97-98?) so it's been a while. I'm very impressed with the quality of the parts so far. |

I got it all built up and sorted for racing on saturday, it performed very well but before I had chance to play around with anything the speedo popped a fet which ended my day. I'm very pleased with the car though.

Looking nice:thumbsup: Please please please get matching coloured wheels:lol:
Spokes are the way forward but not yellow ones:woot: |
Nice another B44. Dont you just love building a kit from bags
of parts and turn it into a full-flegged race machine. I've built a B44 and 501x and I cant say which one was more funner to build. Both cars are great track tamers, I just havent tamed anything yet because the season doesnt start til winter. I can say I can drive my B44 better now because I've raced 2wd mod truck these last few weeks.:) Also I just noticed something, did Associated update the kit again because I have the aluminum spur gear mount and his is carbon fiber. |
BMag long time no speak dude. I think the spur gear cover is made by fibre-lyte:thumbsup:
Good luck with taming the track:yawn: Its all about the grafting :woot: Ben |
where you been bmag anywhere exciting? hows wes and co. you been for anymore baconators with them?
|
all the carbon looks like it's from fibre lite
|
would have been a better b44 if it was Atomized  which i the route i am thinking of next :)

He was going 167MPH and slid off his bike, tottalled that pretty bike as well.:( I saw him at golfland yesterday and he's walking at least, he's just really sore. All I gota say he got so lucky, he could have been seriously injured. Needs to slow down, take it easy. I was gonna race yesterday, but I just watched, nobody showed up with trucks so I had to sit this week out. But I plan on going back to reo this week and check up on Wes...poor guy... |

Thanks for the comments guys, in reply to them
The odd coloured wheels - I agree but I've not had chance to switch the rims yet Gear mount - Yep its the fibre lyte one, no need for it but it was only another £6 so i thought why not, it's also got the mod top decks, battery straps and 4mm shock towers Atomized - I'm running lipo so its not an option I love to build from a kit, yes I know its the expensive route but it's worth it to get to build it yourself, the kits I've built myself are Mardave Cobra, Mardave Mini stock,Losi XX, Losi XXX CR, Associated RC10 T2, Associated B44, Xray T2 008, Kyosho Inferno Kanai 2, TTech Pred 98 Pro |
