Is this a real Hudy yet, a production 2WD from another brand or has someone seriously tortured an XB4?

Anyway, I'm sure there are some top British drivers out there, right? Tom Cockerill, Lee Martin?

I think it was down to cost, heard today was about £1500 for flights, accommodation, transport etc for 2 people not cheaps

Only brits here were race reporting!
Out of all the rounds so far Austria has been the most difficult for ease of access - for us it was two flights plus a 150km drive to the track.
Poland was ace because the track was walking distance from the hotel, and airport was a short taxi ride away, and both germany rounds are easily accessible for brits wanting to drive - Austria is just that bit further. All the same it's been another awesome event put on by the EOS crew and we'll be working our reporting magic over the next few days, so hope you enjoy the read :)

Dortmund is the final round and expected to fill up quickly - as the race is held at a huge international toy fair event. It's just a shame that the BRCA were unable to find an alternative date to host the first round of our national series as the dates clash will impact on UK drivers who would otherwise be racing amongst top competition from around the world and showing off their skills to thousands of visitors at Dortmund - good promotion for the hobby and the manufacturers.

Money i'd say.....the cost of it, the lack of it etc.

jimmy 11-03-2013 08:22 AM

Or the fact they couldn't attend the last round. I will be there :)
The hudy 2wd doesnt exist yet, long way off. Both savoya and bayer were running new cars never used before. 22 and rb6. Those guys are insane - we left late sunday and they were still running the track and testing. They will really do well for xray.
