Transponder exchange
 

The club have got some Mylaps transponders for exchange. Those who put their names on the list last week will be first in queue. There may be 1 or 2 spare. Will exchange on Saturday 9th.

Does that mean the club is looking to move to RC4?

No, the club is still using RC3 timing, but a lot of members will be racing outdoors this summer at tracks which have upgraded to RC4. Some have already upgraded their PT's elsewhere, so we are offering the exchange service at York for those that still want to.
There will come a time when we will upgrade. There is no financial incentive to do so, the upgrade is free. Two weeks ago 40% of racers were using MRT transponders at a club meeting, so this is not the time to upgrade.

No Chris, RHR uses Yorks gear so what Mike said applies to both venues.
