Race meeting at count hill 3rd march is on

After the EGM today it has been decided that me and Steve howley are the bury metro rcc oople representatives and that any race day information will come from either of us on the bury metro forum, so here's a few points of interest.

Race meeting at count hill 3rd march is on as originally intended at
Waterhead Academy
Moorside Campus
Counthill Road,
Oldham,
OL4 2PY
Doors open at 9am

Also in the EGM it was decided that before each indoor meeting a maximum of two track designers will have control over the layout, this is to stop the scenario we had last time where there were far too many cooks spoiling the broth situations, so to speak.

This weeks Designated track designers are;
Gavin Collingwood
Chris Elworthy
We also need as many track builders to help get the track sorted as early as possible and ready to go ASAP so si can get everyone booked in and racing underway for 11am preferably.

If you would like a turn at designing a track at the next meeting, pm me and you with the help of another can your turn have final decision of the track layout.

Any word on the outdoor track?
Is the same principle going to apply then?

Ah, i guess i was volunteered in absentia :p

Yes outdoors too and the idea also is to run fortnightly not weekly

Outdoor track layout is a lot simpler as we don't quite have the 'blank canvas' problem we have with the indoor track.

But even so yes, the idea is basically to speed up the process of getting set up so we can start racing earlier, which in turn can then mean more rounds before its time to go home.

BTW I'm fairly sure the guys at Wickes are going to call social services as I've just been in with two small children and bought nothing but 200m of Duct tape!
