Cat K1 rear end loose off power...

Hello~

This is my first 1/10 buggy and i am having a hard time tuning it...

Whenever I let go the throttle turning into a corner, the rear end of the car will just loose out. I am running the stock setting, and I tired tightening the rear diff, the result is that the car will push on power and still loose off power.

I have to drive this car like a Tamiya F1 in order to run it smoothly, but overall this is the fastest and most agile offroad RC i have ever own. ( may be too agile...)

Haw hi are you running the car I have found mine likes the rear end to be sat low so front drive shafts level and rear drive shafts just under level also put 2deg camber on rear hop this helps

I don't have a K1 but it may still be relevant to try... It helps a lot on my 2WD to work with the mounting holes on the shock towers* - Perhaps put the rear shocks more diagonal and if needed the front ones more vertical/upright?

*My 2WD suffered from a lack of steering and I solved it by loosening the end up a bit with more upright/vertical dampers - I moved them by only one hole and the understeer was gone!

-1 degree camber all round,

Front toe in is about 1 degree I guess.

Using stock spring with 27.5 wt Asso shock oil.

I am going to play around with the spring next time i head to track as the Core RC spring kit finally came in~

If your running drag brake - turn it down to 1 on a scale 0-10.
