B44 One-way

Does anyone know if anybody does a oneway shaft for the B44, got a oneway diff but been told by a few people that the oneway shaft is better. I know that the D4 has one or will the BJ4 one fit. If anyone runs one or knows of one can they let me know with contact details so I can try this

The BJ4 one won't fit out of the bag because the front shaft is too long due to the BJ4 not having the longer slipper assembly.
I haven't seen any ready-made one for the B44.
The hookup into the transmission should fit so all you'd have to do is find a fitting bone to fit the front and middle drive cups. Maybe you could even redrill and shorten the BJ4 one.

Good luck :)

do you mean a center drive shaft or oneway diff

The centre shaft as I already have the oneway front diff but the shaft is meant to be better and easier to drive with

A one way diff will ensure under ALL conditions that the front wheel with the most traction will be getting power.

However, with a one way shaft, a condition can occur where the wheel with no traction will be spinning and the tire WITH traction may get ZERO power.

As most options in engineering, there is always compromise. You just have to minimize the compromises in your SPECIFIC areas of use.
