Futaba 3VCS - repair

After tripping off the rostrum at club I managed to drop my 3vcs..

It works but the screen doesn't display anything. The handset still works fine just can't change any of the settings on it. I've checked all the connections inside looking for dry or lose joints and it all looks fine so no idea whats going on with it.

Are there any competent transmitter repair people out there? :)

Cheers

Mike

Send it to ripmax repair dept as it looks like the screen digitiser has failed

They do thier repairs in house I believe. I recently sent my 4pks before Xmas with non working screen and it was turned around in a couple of days.

If you can't get any joy out of them you could contact Derek Bailey ( his details on here if you search him or the RC Disco website ) and see if he can help you ?

Did you manage to get your 3VCS repaired? I dropped mine today and the LCD had stopped working. All functions of the radio appear OK but I have no display. Connectors all seem in place.

I dropped min 3 years ago with the exact same problem. Screen does not work but everything else does! Would love to get it fixed..

As stated above, Derek bailey is your man. Get him to service it while hes at it, you will notice a pleasant difference if its an oldish one. The pots break down slowly over time but you don't notice it until its been serviced.
