Just wondering if anyone remembers Tonys Rc Models that used to be on Chesterfield road in Sheffield they got me into rc racing nearly 20 years ago I remember Paul Hinchcliffe and Dave Bailey being the ones to beat and D Bailey first signing for kyosho good days and times

Did you use to race in South Yorkshire back in the late 80's - early 90's??

Both of them guys helped me out when I was a numbie in the late 90's. Did an endurance race with Paul in our team at the Dronfield club. If I remember rightly it was all done with manual lap counting before they got transponders. Cant imagine how many laps were missed!

Graemes Pit Stop
 

Reminiscing about old rc shops made me wonder what happened to Graemes Pit Stop in northampton. A brilliant rc shop which stocked loads. If i remember correctly his son was a good racer....

Hi Mike I used to race in 90s first proper car was a tamiya manta ray which I upgraded upto a top force I can remember the looks I got at my first season of regionals have some videos somewhere willhave to find them out. I remember a team race for tonys shop think it was at dronfield we had dave Bailey in that team which we won. I remember dave kicking his kyosho lazer across track in a mood lol
