Hobbywing extreme stock
 

Hi all

I have recently bought a second hand hobby wing stock but I have no idea how to get brakes on it ? I like a lot of brakes

Unfortunately I don't have set up card

Any ideas ?

Im pretty sure it can be done using the buttons. Go onto their website and download the manual :)

You can enter programming mode with the "Set" button, and tweak settings

Thanks for all your help I've tried but just can't get it to work at all :(

I just can't seem to get in to the settings for brake at all I can set neutral etc but as for brake % can't seem to follow the instructions unless its the wine ? Hic !!

Not sure where in the country you are but if you are anywhere near Watford Herts I can lend you my prog card that I got with my Xtreme stock.

Go to giant shark.com programme cards are about £12 and you have to have it, the power you can wring from a motor with it is to these days unheard of, I had a 13.5 in a b4 doing easy 50 mph with low temps, especially if you bought it second hand, you need it to make sure you are running the supercharged firmware, not mod, blinky or anything else the seller may have put on it, I have tried the lot and i found the firmware ending 110119 which came in either the v1.63 or v1.64 hobbywing download to be the fastest, there are later firmwares, we are on v 3.0 now but that one had the best boost, check out the supercharged stock firmware thread on rc tech.

Never had any success programming with the button, if you are trying then take the wheels or pinion off your car. I learnt the hard way and my touring car ended up in the kitchen sink!!!
Best bet get the pro box from Giant Shark you won't regret it

LOL you no what mate, tell me about it tried last night and made a massive mess of the carpet black rubber on a white carpet not a good look :o im in the dog house !!!
