Keep her stock

IMO there's only two ways to go all out drift decals crazy paint jobs etc or as near to stock as possible

;) every one loves a stock sleeper drifting

It will also be mounted on stealth mounts so I won't be drilling the bodyshell for posts or to screw on the spoiler

Well, unless your going for a scale interior, tint it. But gor fir a transparent colour, not fastint or similar, you could even do a few light coats of chrome, still be see through.

I'd go for a JDM style faded brown tint at the top of the windscreen only.

I sit and chuckle at them too whilst waiting to pick up mrs( who works there by the way:)) In there crappy corsas and novas. They cant see me thought as my real car windows are tinted. But they often think i`m one of them, what with my bonnet stripes and Jap tail light:lol:

Lordslimjim 21-02-2013 09:23 PM

Pulled up in my nice escort the once :D had to laugh at the abuse I got because it wasn't a corsa :(

(Mk6 escort full cage stripped and actual engine upgrades ;) bring on the summer and a car trailer to get me to a track)

How did this project end up btw?

johnnygibbon 22-02-2013 12:48 PM

the drift project is slowly continuing , im deffo tinting the windows , but gonna use velcro or double sided tape to hold the spoiler on , because i stilll cant decide. the body is not having holes drilled im gonna use stealth mounts that are in the post now along with my r31 (streetjam) chassis. i will update with pics soon
cant wait

Here it is with tints
One dust coat and two top coats
Didn't want to go any darker
But with the black Rims it looks mean
I will be sticking with the white rays replicas for my chassis though
