speed passon gt2.1 , need to slow it down !!

hi , im running a sp gt2.1 with a lrp x12 6.5t motor ( has 528mod software ) , but im having difficuilty slowing the thing down !!

my basic settings are
drrs *1
supercharger boost level *5
rpm delay *11000
full throttle delay * 0.6
super charger punch * -4

its more like a switch !!, im ok with slowing the top end , but the thing is soo aggresive , as you can see by my settings i ive tried slowing it down ( and a few track side have tried aswell ) but its just mental !!

motor temps are at 120 faheit
and the esc's cool

running in a durango 410 geared at 87/22

just to say , ive tried the above motor /lipo's in another durango , on a cheap saker 120amp esc , on higher esc settings and it is alot smoother !!

but saying that on my current sp settings , you would have thought it would be smooth , instead of a switch !!

cheers :)

I've run and still us the GT 2 PRo/LPF.

But don't know the 2.1 version, email or phone call to Schumacher ?

Don't use the boost, run 205MOD, plenty quick enough and smoother with better brakes. Oh, and make sure you recalibrate the ESC after updating the software.

cheers for the help , im used to the top end boost , but dont like the aggresive botorm end , but am going to have a search throu the internet this week , and change the software ..

@ mikeyscott , i had thought about that software , but im not sure on the turbo slope stuff , soo thats why i stuck to the normal turbo, delay etc , as thats what i used to run in the snooring cars ..

but even on sunday , changing the settings all thro the meeting on sunday , nothing really changed , it was still aggresive , and had to try and feather the throttle in !!

Put the timing/boost to zero and you can also turn off the supercharger effect. Reduce your tx throttle epa to around 80% and you can also go up 1 tooth on the pinion if you want to try and reduce low end punch.

With an LRP x12 6.5 I personally wouldn't use turbo at all at which point turbo slope won't come into it.

thanks again for the help , i'm going to fit my hpi flux 6.5t motor , with a bit of luck should be alot smoother
