K1 front 12mm hex??

Hi all,

Having retired my Lazer ZX5-FS and almost finished the build of my very pretty K1 I find myself with a lot of front wheels which I now can't use.

My Lazer had the std 12mm hex on the front and pins on the rear.

I know the K1 comes with the B44 size hex as an option for the front wheels but has anyone fitted 12mm hexes? If so please tell me what I need.

Maybe just some clamp type 12mm hexes from a touring car will work over the normal kit pin?

Cheers,

Dan

Both Hotbodies D4 (HBS61474) & Team C front 12mm hexs will fit. I'm using these with Kyosho & AKA front rims with no problems.

Would these work?

Couldn't you reduce the track by removing spaces from front blocks ?

Would that cause the drive shafts to bind in the cups?

I've never had a problem running 1mm or 2mm spacing with either the SX or the K-1

Cheers guys, so if I buy HBS61474 the pins will fit right through the hole in the K1 driveshafts?

Yes they are the same diameter but you would need to get longer pins to be safe.

So you reckon the Team C option would be best?
