SV2 setup sheet clarification question

Hi Lads,

I've been looking at setup sheets on the Petit RC site for the sv2 and am a little confused regarding the rear camber link.
On the sheets regarding the rear link washers I understand that one measurement is for how many mm of shims go under the ballstud but what is the other measurement for? The diagram appears to point to the plastic 2mm spacer that goes between the bulkhead and the camber link plate so does that mean if the setup sheet says 1mm for here is that an additional 1mm spacer above the plastic spacer to raise the camber link further or does it mean the plastic spacer is removed all together and a 1mm spacer is used in its place?

Sorry if this comes across a bit confusing its a little hard to explain without the sheet in front of me.

Can anybody help me out?

Chris

no just means 1mm under there,if it meant on top of the plastic washer surely it would say 3mm, not everyone runs the plastic spacer infact we never ran it at all,

Thanks for that Carl,

I ran the car at southport on Sunday with no spacer under there and found the car very very edgy on the high grip. By not running the 2mm spacer I had the ballstud really low so that would have created a very high roll centre so could that be causing the feeling it's going to grip roll as the weight transfer from side to side made the car very edgy.

If you check my southport setup on petit you will see I run 1mm violet washers underneath with the plastic one on top. It makes the rear very smooth, but only if you run medium camber position.

two things running small metal washers under the plastic you wont be able to tighten it down properly it'll mark or crush the plastic, and the plate will be unstable just use washers

Sorry for the confusion the washers are under the plate and the plastic is on top of the plate.
