TORCH Winter Series Round 4 Supported by X-Factory UK - 10th Feb 2013

Don’t forget Round 4th of the TORCH Winter series supported by X-Factory UK is on 10th Feb

This is an all day meeting and run on control tyres – Ballistic Buggy tyres on driven axles. Think most have found Greens in the wet/damp and whites in the dry have worked really well.

4 qualifiers and one final for all. No trophies on the day but end of series trophies for top 10 etc.

Track should be open from around 08:00 for free practice.

I know it's come round quick, but with Maritime etc in Feb, it was chosen to try and allow people to attend other winter series / big meetings. Apologies if it doesn't suit all.

That might be because Darren knows nothing about it

Cannot see it being a problem at all, but when was I asked?

Cheers Tony, spent all evening on the club laptop so far, clearing it out and trying to sort out the results and champ standings, yet BBK is not including some of the competitors.. So trying to work out what it's doing, failing that a call to Rob tomorrow.

Got one individual who raced all day, competed in the finals, yet according to the champ table he wasn't there, update champ results and he doesn't get included. People who finished between him are there! I can add him in manually, not a prob - but more like what's it bloody playing at!!

Thank you to Darren at DMS the online entry is now open http://www.dmsresults.co.uk/

The primary reason for this is to enable myself to get things as ready as possible for you the racers

Do I have to wait for a new pt number to enter? Or can the number be edited after entry?

Hi Steve

You can enter without a PT, I will be changing yours and 20 or so other PT's on Sunday.
Thanks Steve

Do you have to be a member for this race? I am a novice with a e-bay special and I think a set of used ballistic tyres so would like to give your track a go. However I am about an hour a way so don't want a wasted journey

jamiekerr14 09-02-2013 10:29 AM

You are very very welcome buddy!

Bring all your stuff with you and come have some fun!- have you got a transponder or do you need to rent out a PT?.
Come on down always good to see some new faces ;)

Thanks Jamie, I have a red harry (?) in the car. Will that work? I have run the car for the last 2 Thursdays at shrcc so it should all hold together.

jamiekerr14 09-02-2013 10:35 AM

Great stuff yes that will be perfect!

Fingers crossed its all on for tomorrow, but I would advise you to check back tonight.. just incase the guys decided to call it off.
The track is fantastic for drying/getting water off. But the forecast is for rain most of the day, so that could cause issues!

Fingers Crossed

Jamie

looking forward to racing tomorrow. IF the weather does not cause it to be called off.

Can i check. how many rounds to count in the series. 3 or 4?

cant remember.

Please let it not rain so much this time. PLEEEEAAASSSEEE!!!! lol.:D

RobW 09-02-2013 05:10 PM

Sorry Guys but meeting is postponed due to forecast of heavy rain most of the day. :(

Think it is only fair to do this now rather than allow racers to travel only to cancel in the morning.

We'll let you know new date when known.

Cheers

Rob
