Quick Q about this flash for anyone who has one.

In manual mode can the power be adjusted in 1/3rd stops like the 580 or is it only full stops?

Canon are as helpful as ever!!!

The power can be adjusted in
1/1, 1/2...1/64

Flash exposure compensation can be adjusted in 1/3 Stops.

Just to check Cruise, when you say flash exposure compensation is in 1/3rd stops thats in ETTL yeah not manual?

Does it only go as low as 1/64th..? thats not so good.

Flash compensation is ETTL

Manual Is minimal 1/64.


But check out the new 430 EXII its also got 1/3 steps. :http://www.dpreview.com/news/0806/08...non430iiex.asp

Its gotten nearer to the 580 EXII but still no master option.
