Another 1/12th scale newbie
 

hi myself and my son are going to have a go at 1/12th scale

think end of line has alot to answer for

the gearing is the problem
we are only running local club stuff
my son has 4 cell nihm on 19t brushed for now
i have a hobby wing just stock speedo to go in with a 10.5 at mo its a nosram spec non adjustable timing or novak ballistic 13.5 whichever you guys would think is better running on 3.7v
but may have a speed passion v3 10.5 by next week if pennies allow

any idea of a roll out starting point we can work from on a resonably tight track for both cars

19T/4-cell - anything from 44mpr (Corally Black) to 52mpr (Checkpoint Money motor). LEt me know the motor and I'll give you a guide.

I suggest you start with the 13.5 motor as it will give you more satisfaction to drive, and keep the costs down on tyres and bodies. Start about 75mpr and then go up or down depending on how hot the motor gets. HTH :)
