RACING THIS SUNDAY 27TH JAN

EDIT: Due to the fact there is still a covering of snow THERE WILL BE NO RACING AT NBC TOMORROW! we had 7" of snow here over the wintery blast, and I think with the overnight rain we are due we will just have a load of wet slush:cry: hard to believe when you go to yarmouth and it's just about all thawed.

So some are heading to beccles (as per the rest of this post) And I know carl and simon are heading to costal for some offroad as they are running.

Right then, IF the track is still snow covered on sunday as I suspect it may well be:cry: as we still have 2-3 inches of very frozen snow on all open ground here, how many of us would be interested in a small club road trip to the Beccles & Lowestoft club and race a little indoor:o as they have said they would happily lay on buggy heats, the track is far kinder than the old kellers venue with more space between track and walls. I have said for a long time we would take a trip over there, but they always race the same dates as us.
As you all know I am normally very keen on running at club if we can,but I doubt very much if our track will be usable this coming sunday! I'm not committing us and if by saturday afternoon the snow has gone and you all want to get down and dirty, thats what we will do

This post is just to see who would be up for it... names below please

There club website can be found here: http://www.blrccc.co.uk/index.html

Door open at 1pm not sure on finishing time, but can find out.

Weekend

I will be at Kirkley blrccc unless the snow rapidly clears this weekend or someones got a snow plough free on Saturday, I got my new mini pins on my b44, reckon that will go like a rocket.

jonnyboy81 25-01-2013 08:56 PM

I'm up for it...keep me posted!

Nathan2000 25-01-2013 09:09 PM

what tyres may i ask

racingdwarf 25-01-2013 09:27 PM

You may want shumacher mini pins on the back, and with mid go staggers on the front Nathan AMC has them on the shelf;). OR just use some yellow mini spikes if you don't want to go and have a spend

mtbd500 26-01-2013 02:31 AM

Tyres

Try to run something other than mini spikes if at all possible as mick is concerned about the carpet, mini pins are the best bet or what Dave suggested for 2wd.

Other plans for me this weekend. Have fun where ever you race.

Hope you have a great day guys, I quite enjoyed the last time we raced indoors so I'm quietly dissapointed to be missing this tbh.
