Midmotor!...?.... is it only a matter of time before midmotor cars develop as much traction as rear motor?

Ron Burgundy 25-01-2013 09:15 AM

Mid Motor versus the rear motor of most US drivers? Maybe it is practice and he is testing both layouts but interesting to see his position.

Maybe for a vintage class? Cant think why else they would be using them.

Ron Burgundy 25-01-2013 09:49 AM

It is actually a tribute to Mike Reedy. It states it on one of the websites involved with the Reedy Race that the first pit table is setup to replicate exactly how Mike Reedy would have it, with all motor building equipment and the motors of his, had he still been there and has done so for all of the years gone by.

Quite a nice touch and a great tribute to a pioneer of RC :)

NICE!

Yup, something they did last year as well. Set all of Mike's pit up just as it would have been. I think it's in the Red RC story that his pit is set up before anyone else is allowed to set theirs up.

That's a great tribute to Mike Reedy, a real gentleman and great supporter of RC..
Met him at the Reedy Races at Aire Valley in '92 and '94....!

Am I right in saying that Hara finished 10th overall in 2wd with a mid motor RB6?
