About WMCC
Weeting model car club is a small friendly club based in Norfolk. The club races at the village hall in the small Village of Weeting, Situated 2miles from Brandon, and approx 10 miles from the A11 at Thetford, and 12 miles from the A11 at Mildenhall.

PLEASE NOTE that the map tells you to turn left off Saxon Place in to the hall, BUT it is in fact RIGHT off Saxon Place. Otherwise our neighbours may not be too happy to have people trying to race radio controlled cars in their front rooms!!!!!!!!!

Club Rules and membership details
Full year £40 / Half year £25.
Juniors half price (under 16)
Plus B.R.C.A £15 required either through a club or directly from the B.R.C.A.
Membership includes all race meetings during season 1st January - 31st December. Guests may race 2meetings for free of charge after that membership of the club and B.R.C.A is required.

Version 5 Effective from 01/01/2011
Club Racing Rules
- The decision of the race director is final
Minimum of 3 rounds per meeting
Duration of heats will be 5 minutes.
Marshalling duties will be performed by the previous race competitors
Race marshals only to remove cars from the track whilst the race is running
Maximum of 6 cars to be entered in to each race
Each driver must display the car number during each heat and final
The use of bad language to be actively discouraged; a competitor will be disqualified from the meeting for consistent use of foul language or aggressive behaviour.
Scrutineering, by Committee Member (s), will take place each race meeting and any competitor found using illegal equipment may be Consistent illegalities will result in the member being reported to the Clubs Committee, who will determine whether a complete ban from racing within the particular championship should be invoked. In such circumstances, no refund of fees paid will be considered.
Driving standards should be of a sporting nature and penalties will be enforced where competitors persistentlycommit the following offences;-
Collision with an ’on-line’ car
- Erratic or inconsiderate driving
- Course cutting
- Jump starts
- Deliberately hitting other
- If your car is in a dangerous state and not safe for racing you will be forced to retire.
- When joining the track please place the car down and not drive of the stage, this will damage the carpet.Any cars that are seen to be damaging the carpet will be removed from the track immediately
