Spintec ICC charger - Any good?

Hi,

Anyone got experience with these?

Tempted to switch to individual cell charging, how easy is it to fit packs in etc though, and does it work well?

Looky here

Had one and hated it! Nice idea but horrible in reality and not as precise as you' think.

Also look for the Spintec thread on RC-Tech if the other thread doesn't put you off.

Yes, just stay away from it!

I'm right now paying EUR 100 plus freight for an upgrade. That was alternative #2. Alternative #1 was to attack it with an axe...

It's a F.R.U.S.T.R.A.T.I.N.G. product!!! :(

Sorry guy's couldn't disagree more. Had mine for over a year now and it's excellent. No problems with a cell not getting charged on your 'convential charger', and having to get your DVM out to check each cell individually.

The only cautionary note I have is, when it is very hot get a fan to blow over the top of the cells, this just stops them false peaking.

Im with swiss on this one, never had any probs with mine, just make sure you set min temp peak to around 25C and have a temp high cutoff !!! just in case, also a 3 1/2 inch computer fan blowing on the lhs of the heatsink helps!

Top item and gives my cells amazing numbers!
