quick thanks, info for newbies & what speedo?

just a quick post to extend my thanks to the guys at southport, I have had many hobbies over the years but none where I have encountered such friendly, helpful people on my first visit, ive never learnt so much in 2 hours...to any newbies just turn up and ask questions its always hard to start out when you are guessing...

im new to 1/10 buggy racing so help with my tracking, lending of spares, tyres & tools, sorting slipper and other things that I wouldnt have known without visiting are much appreciated..

my motor which i got 2nd hand with the car "broke" in the first race so it was a very short day ...sadly it looks like the heat it generated has taken my speed controller with it....dan scott very kindly gave me a spare motor and im out to buy a new speedo before returning over the next 2 weeks...if anyone can advise on a decent speedo please do...thanks to aidan, tommy, dan & si (and others) for your efforts...

You and Danny looked like a lovely couple:wub

Me and Tommy run Speed Passion stuff, Tony runs Tekin and Gary runs Orion.

What I am getting at is that no make is better than any other for duffers like you and me.

On re-reading this I realise that this is no help to you, Sorry.

Ps
