Got this off of an old friend for my son. My son has cleaned it to an extent but we have decided it would be better suited to someone who would like to restore it or is better accustomed to IC cars. IC is not for us anymore. Regardless I have tested it with my glow starter and some 16% fuel to which it works fine.
It must be around 15 - 20 years old. From what I have read it seems to be one which people restore and shelve.
I have gone over it and like I said it starts fine without a hitch. Probably could do with some needle adjustment which is where I am at a loss.
It has been used before us as you can see from what is left on the tyres.
Complete with radio gear on 27mhz which is all Acoms.

The good points...

• It runs.
• Diff seems very good.

The bad points from what I can see.

• Tyres at the front seem perished on the inside from a split I think.
• Arial on radio got pulled out by me in error as it seemed to be stuck. Oops. Not from the inside of the radio but from half way up the aerial like we have all done.
• Exhaust is loose so need tightening (only mention this so you do not miss it, otherwise it will not run perfect).
• I think that their should be a nipple on the exhaust for the return pipe to the fuel tank as at the moment it is just pushed inside. Maybe this is how it was on these many years ago!
• Body shell has a split next to the pull cord. Would have used some shoe goo but run out.
• Shocks need oil or maybe they do not. Unsure.

Really not sure of the price but would say £60 for the lot plus delivery.
Or you can pick it up from my home in Basingstoke. Down the on-road track in Aldershot on Sundays. Not sure what delivery would be so would have to check it out if you want it sent.
