Mid Week Racing
 

Hi all,
I've just started a new job, got to get some money to keep the racing fund toped-up!!.
So this means I can't race every Sunday at my home track - Southport.

I'm looking for tracks in the North-West with evening racing for 2WD buggy, I've been told Preston & Ellsmere Port have tracks, but I cant find any info.

Any info and ideas apperciated.

I think the clubs you refer to there ar 8th clubs - certainly Preston is.

Bury have been known to hold mid-week meetings in past summers - but I dont think they are this year. If numbers were sufficient maybe the club would consider it.

I believe the macctrack race buggies indoors and they have midweek meets, but not sure how far it is from you.

Put "macctrack" into google and you will find it there

Ellesmere Port race indoors on a Friday night. It is only a small track though, used to have about 90 buggies anight back ten years ago but now probably about 2 as they race 1/18th and 1/10th touring cars.
