Indoor 1/10th off road clubs near heathrow

HELP!!!

Looking for places to race after the closure of Taplow RC:cry:

Can't find much in the way of friday/saturday indoor meets

Any suggestions welcome

DMS is probably your closest option. they race Thursday nights and there a few sunday events too (mainly regionals i think)

There's newbury too, dunno how far that would be for you though. im sure some others might know of more indoor in that area :)

Slightly further afield you've got HNMC up in Ware. its outdoors on tuesday nights in the summer and our winter is currently running 1 sunday per month :)

HTH!

If it's not to far for you to travel then Telstar race on Friday nights

DMS is on a school night:cry:

Don't do Cold

Been there and loved it. but the wet and cold is not for us.

Definately be there in the summer:woot:

Dudders 07-01-2013 07:18 PM

Forget the coat then, get a sports bra and a Pom Pom ;)

Zippy G 07-01-2013 07:25 PM

Pom Pom's

I work in industrial Freezer's (-25 C)

I don't need any more cold in my life
Especially when I'm trying to enjoy myself

So if you get the Pom Pom's and the coat i'll make the call and get you arrested:woot:

See you in the summer:thumbsup:

I mentioned regular saturdays to a number of drivers on the Rnd 4 meeting and there was a lot of interest, not sure how much feedback you got, but I definately think its a winner.:woot:

My wife may not!!

I will consult the committee tomorrow and see what folk thing. We will have to gauge genuine interest so that the club benefits. Remember summer is round the corner and people will want to race outdoors!

Try Yatton

Try Yatton near Weston S Mare.
Its approx (educated guess) 1 1/2 hours from Taplow
They have a trophy meeting on Sunday 20th Jan which includes a raffle with the top prize being a holiday.
They race every Friday and every other Sunday.
See their section here on Oople.

Sadly not, we only race micro buggys 1/14th scale. On Monday nights. There great fun and we get decent grids :) Come have a watch one Monday and I guarantee you will want to get one :)
