Why are people selling their C4.1's

Is it just me or are their a lot of C4.1's for sale lately. Why are people selling them all of a sudden and what are they replacing them with?

I noticed this too.

Maybe they wore them out and want to buy new ones? maybe they know something we don't about a new mid mtor AE car?
Maybe they are getting the new yokomo mid motor, RB6 or hobao h2?

I've no plans to sell mine yet, despite the bent chassis issue.

This happens every time a new car comes out - people jump on the bandwagon, and just have to have the latest and the greatest, under the hopes it'll put them on the podium.
Ultimately it's the same reason those same people have sold other cars - they bought something thinking it was going to turn them into drivers, and have moved onto something else hoping it's the answer to their lack of talent. ;)

I wanted to sell mine because I bought an S2 which I prefer, also ordered the new yokomo, but that's just to be different, I think I'm going to be the only one at the club with one :woot:

because the centro is not the car to go. Its expensive, the quality from b4.1 parts is poor and for 220 EUR you get a durango, which quality is finest. I had a centro too, one of the firsts, and now im happy that i drive the dex210, the quality and price level of the car is superb. Only the ball diff is a little problem, but with gear diff its done. Running 5 races indoor and the car looks almost new.

I'll be selling mine shortly as I've ordered the Yokomo. Not because I don't like the centro but because I love Yoks. The centro is a great car. Probably the best handling 2wd I've owned.

Don't agree with the fact that its expensive as people who are selling it already own it so that doesn't really make sense.

Also don't agree with the Durango being better quality. I've had one and found dissapointing. I reckon it's just a new year, new car.

3 drivers at our club are selling theirs as they've a B or C team drive for Schumacher.

Are you on drugs the 210 is a poor car.

The 210 is a great car.

a few people at my club have also said that the centro is a difficult car to get on with
I know one guy who is a decent driver who got rid of his centro and went with a vega and much prefers it

As has already been said I think the biggest issue is that every body thought the centro would automatically get them wins and as it hasnt done so they are moving on to the next car that promises to do so

100% agree. I was one of the people on here going on and on about when is this car going to be released then ran the car for a year and then sold it so I could buy the next flavour of the month. My old car went on to win 2 of the EOS events with the new talented owner so there was not a lot wrong with it.

Don't think it has anything to do with price as people are selling them not buying and I would not be surprised if many are replacing with £370 RB6s.

Can't decide if I believe any of the rumours of a new mid AE car being released anytime soon. I guess it will come eventually but with a Worlds this year on dirt would AE really be concentrating any effort on a mid car or even one with mid/rear options when they have an excellent rear motor car currently?

No im not on drugs, its right, my last races, 2,1,2,4 with that car. And if you push the car its makes a lot of fun.

Really the Durango is good build quality by miles compared to the C4, with the 210 you don't have to get a straight edge out after every 5 minute run to check the chassis to see if it's been tweaked then bend it straight over your leg.

Don't get me started with the Associated bits either, I had a X6 and put a whole new front end on it because I wasn't happy with the slop. The new stuff was just as bad for play as the stuff I took off.

The Durango is slop free and doesn't tweak easily.

I will never own an Associated car again unless they address the quality issues, it was since they were bought out and they seem to have let things go downhill a little. My original B4 can't fault it quality product, my B44 looked and felt cheap by comparison.

Japanese is the way to go. They might be plastic kits but the quality is second to none in my opinion.
