RC Result Analyzer Lite

One of our local racers Matt has released an android app today, called RC Result Analyzer Lite. A pro feature rich version is due out soon. This should prove to be a very cool tool for all racers.

Probably not much use to UK racers, as it only looks to work with RC scoring pro which isn't really used over here. Perhaps he could add RC-timing and bbk support for us?

Would you be able to briefly let me know how the results are stored within each type of software you guys use? Do all results land in the same folder and what file format are they..

It's possible it may work. The lite version should allow you to try it with your scoring software to see if it works... All that happens with the RC Scoring Pro is that the results folder is being shared.. The actual scoring program is not doing anything new for the app to work.
IGNORE THE ABOVE.. Matt will sign up and address the issue, its way more complicated then i thought. :)

I'll pass on your request to see what needs to be done

Hi,

Ya unfortunately the tool will not work with any other timing software then RC Scoring Pro at this time.

I could in the future make it work with other software, but I would need to understand how those other timing software do things (Formats of results, etc).

I'll look into those products, but I can't guarentee anything unfortunately.

Matt

Here is a short video of the tool in use at an actual race in Ottawa, Canada. Footage isn't great but gives a good demo of the tool.
