yeah i would remove it then wash and start again, if your finding it hard to remove which i think you will put it in the freezer for just a few Min's, but be carefully with the shell while its cold,

Do you plan on using any fades? Or just solid colours?

If solid colours you should be ok. If your using fades wash it out.
Any grease will show up.

Or you can always use some degreaser like the stuff from RCS

Don't try to peel one coat of LM of you will be there all day, Put another coat on.
Let it dry and it will come of really easy

Yep get as many coats of LM on as you can, i usually brush on 4 coats to be sure & let them dry naturally...

If you have forgotten to wash the shell out, no problem, if you wipe the surface you're gonna paint with lighter fluid on a bit of kitchen roll that would remove most the residue before you paint :)

I'm with Mike, if it was my own body I'd either do as Mike says and clean as you go or not even bother at all, Ive always cleaned my bodies to airbrush but before when using cans I never used to bother with no problems so.........I'd weigh up if its worth the risk.

if you decide to start again I'd do as the guys said and add another layer or so before removing.

Good luck.
