Ellis Stafford joins Team Durango

Team Durango have signed long-time racer and all-round nice chap - Ellis Stafford to the team for 2013. With a vast array of titles under his belt, Ellis should bring a whole new dimension to the TD stable in the UK - and a real chance at some BRCA National wins for the first time.

Team Durango are delighted to announce that multiple European and UK Champion, Ellis Stafford, will be racing Team Durango buggies from the 2013 season onwards.
Ellis has been racing at the highest level for more than twenty years, and in his career he has achieved some outstanding results:
Multiple European Champion
Multiple BRCA National Champion
Multiple BRCA Indoor National Champion
1x BRCA Winter Touring Car Champion
Multiple BRCA Truck Champion
Multiple Regional titles
35+ BRCA National A Final wins
200+ BRCA National A Final appearances

To be so consistent over so many years at the top level of RC racing is testament to Ellis’s talent and limitless knowledge about RC car set-up.
Upon signing for Team Durango, Ellis had the following to say,
“Having watched Team Durango cars for a few years now it’s clear that the company has got racing at the heart of it, as well as making great products for the customers. The 4WD buggy (DEX410V3) speaks for itself with its speed around the track. I am really looking forward to getting stuck-in with the car to complete the only challenge that I have not managed to win in the UK, the outdoor National title, along with hopefully many other titles. The 2WD buggy (DEX210) with its mid/rear motor layout is going to suit any track that we will visit and, again, I am excited to work with the team to pull the most out of the car, to get some titles back in the 2WD class as well.”

Welcome to the Team Ellis.

Why do cars always look freakely large in his hands congrats on the new rides Ellis. Nothing against you but I hope you don't run them at the vets this year ;)

GOOD LUCK ELLIS

Never met Ellis until a warm up at Maritime Raceway when I asked for a bit of advice on tyres and set up (funnily enough I have a DEX210). What a genuinely nice and helpful chap!

Great news for Durango racers

After seeing Ellis drive the Durango 4wd at the last Stotfold series and leaving everyone clearly behind him. He will be a strong challenger for this years titles.

Good Luck with your new ride.
