confused charging lipo

Dear Guy's, I have some problem with one lipopack 5000-40c.
When I try to charge balanced, 5amp drops to 0.7amp after a some seconds.
So lipo when full, and I try the store function after a some seconds I get the beep its done?? Checking with a voltmeter is says 8.55volts.
Now I confused, is this pack dead, full or stored??

Thanks for your advice,..........Appie.

That is more than full... Stop charging and use the battery! 8.4v is fully charged..

Good point - if it doesn't, it won't be able to 'storage charge'

Now discharging to minimum 6.6v! After this Will charge and zee shag this does!

Keep an eye on it (and keep it in a lipo sack if you have one)
An overcharged lipo is more likely to pop than a correctly charged one.
Also have a look at the settings on your charger and change them if that's possible.

Thanks for your support. My esc. does not have a lipocutoff, so I never new the shape my lipos are in. So ordered a buzzer, and now know when they are into minimum volts.
