First meeting 2013..?
 

Hi Guys,
Just want top check if the first meeting for 2013 is the evening meeting on thursday 3rd Jan or is it the following sunday, half day meeting on the 6th Jan?
Looking forward to it already!

Once a month having a regular heat for big dumb trucks. We know of at least 4 who are up for it from the other thread and Darren's said that he'd volunteer to be the additional marshal to make 5 for the following round so that we would have 5 marshals.

If it becomes a regular thing he'll get another one anyway

I don't have an opinion on when in the month it should be, just something regular to make sure those who have one know its coming and schedule for it and try to drive the popularity up.

Thursday or Sunday??

Hi chaps, gonna hopefully get up to shrcc this thursday eve. To strt my 2013 buggy racin.. what is the latest we can arrive? or earliest.

Doors at 6.30pm, come by 7.15pm but you can arrive later, you'll just miss a race etc

I'm up for Thursday - the weather looks like it will be dry (ish) so happy to bring the truck along

I'm just generally sick of the rain - what I really wanted for Xmas was a drought.

Anyway. Just say the word and I'll bring the truck with me on Thursday night. If we go for that and see if we can get the other ones there then great

Ok guys well 3rd Thursday of each month try and bring trucks?

I'm up for that :). Btw Neil, I've been adjusting the truck in my absence from the circuit. If I bring it along to test it this Thursday is it ok to run with prior to the heats kicking off? I'll run the buggy in the heats, but the one and only time I brought it along it was very twitchy and I think I've dialled that out now but want to give it a run for its money. Basically I just need a bit of track time, like a few minutes whilst everyone is unpacking and such like.

There is always open practice on the track before the meeting starts so your welcome to test etc...

I might try to get some big wheels/tyres to fit my SX3 and mount a truck body on it. Not in time for the 17th as wrist gona be out of action, but for future races....... or do the same to an sv2.
