Where do you guys get spares

Hi
I'm thinking of dusting off my vintage cougar for my young son. It needs new pulleys and belt as its slipping and if I get it running I'm sure it won't be long before I need spare wishbones etc. How do you guys get hold of spares and would I be better getting the boy something newer I can get spares for easier?

all I can suggest is ebay or google the name or the part number of what your looking for or google hobby shops and model shops and ring them up 1 by 1,

if you dont have the manual for part numbers you should find it here:

or if your not fussed about getting the vintage one going then get a newer 1/10th car,
the associated b4 and durango 210 are in abundance and spares are easily available,
or you could get a 14th, the popular one at the moment is the losi mini 8ight and as the other 2, spares are everywhere and its built like a planes black box ( with a couple of upgrades that is )

Or post up here what you need as a few of us carry quite a few bits.

Is it the silver chassis'd cougar (Mk1)?

I'll have a look at what I have :D

Thanks. Yeah mk1 it was a topcat then upgraded to cougar then later to swept back front wishbones. It's seen some action :) a new top pulley and diff pulley would get me going as I've found the place in the us that people seem to use for replacements

Thanks
Rich

There is a complete cougar on the bay for £25 at the moment (bidding)

Could be good for a donor car!!
