how much are kits? website not working?

I would quite like a predator, if the website worked.

http://www.teamxtreme.co.uk/store/in...ee34dc248b6372

so how much are the xrs kits? do they still sell them?

MHeadling 23-12-2012 07:22 PM

I think the Pred X11 is around £399 (maybe worth a phone call to confirm)

The XRS version isn't out yet...

There is a new website coming soon I'm told that'll be upto date with all the latest items etc

Might be a long wait...

restimax 25-12-2012 11:16 AM

x11rs is old....the project is of the 2010?2011? not yet for sale...???:eh?::yawn:

Tom3012 25-12-2012 12:36 PM

January 2010 it was showed at the petit race, 3 year later...

Dead horse has been flogged. Fat lady has sung and £407 is just insane.. new website? You mean an update as yet on 2008/2009? This website is gonna be amazing, 4 years of development nasa is gonna use it for reference its gonna be THAT good... well done tx, well done...

kwik 26-12-2012 09:10 PM

i know the frustration ron. i have owned all sorts of RC's, B4's, schumachers, tamiyas of all kinds and a pred x10.

the only one i regret selling is the pred.

I would love a new one as well, to build myself. but i cant afford the £407 price tag of the x11. the XRS used to be for sale for a lot less, and i would have bought one last week if it was still there.

not interested in the vega at all. they have the talent to create a whole car instead of just bolt on bits for other cars.

come on team xtreme. it feels like to me your ditching your old customers for new. just my opinion of course...

racingdwarf 26-12-2012 10:02 PM

TBH I'm starting to wonder how they are earning enough to survive, I've not seen a pred on track for some time in the uk, can't imagine they are selling many parts etc, as for vega hmm well whats the future? the RB5 was and is the nuts, and did seem the most popular vega base car, I love mine, but its an old car, the rb5 is no more and the RB6 offers mid motor at half the price the centro is on offer for the B4.1 at a lot less money. the only car out there now is the 201 if you want mid vega is the only way I know you can do it.

the kyosho team did run vega, but now have RB6 so kyosho will want them pushing that. AE team run centro or std B4

Lee with the vega 201 is about the only big name I can think of

with the choice of 4wds out there at the min from kyosho, durango, schumacher and AE the pred has a mountain to climb with any new car...without their price tags:woot:

I'm not putting the company down, the quality of the vega is fantastic, but what next????????

Rayzerp 26-12-2012 10:43 PM

Love my B4.1 Vega...in my opinion it is a more complete car than Centro. The conversion market is shrinking though and the Pred was unique in a now crowded 4wd market so not sure where they see future

MHeadling 26-12-2012 10:57 PM

Vega 4wd could be the future! :wub

But Pred support will still go ahead I'm sure! There were 3 x kits going out the door last visit to TX Hq and loads of spares on the shelf so fear not Pred owners

kwik 26-12-2012 10:57 PM

personally i would like to see a touring car, but it probebly isnt best financially for them.

racingdwarf 26-12-2012 11:10 PM

vega 4wd, hmm, you would never put the shell on:drool:

I was looking at the centro conversion for my son but by the the time you'd factored in a long wheelbase carbon chassis plus other bits the Vega conversion looked better value for money :)

MHeadling 27-12-2012 09:25 AM

Yes the Vega B4.1 is a great conversion, buy it,fit it and race it

As for the Vega 4wd, there was a spy shot on here taken by DC at Maritime, it's a thing of beauty , belt drive and loads of CNC Ali

Yes keep the shell clear for all to view! :woot:

i don't know because is very high the price of pred... the car is all in plastic.
is to small the number of kits in sale? ok, but without marketing you can not sale the kits... same people on track, now ask me if the car is old, vintage? or again in production. with a little sarcastic expression
vega 4wd: I think the predator is the aston martin of models, if I am forced to change the durango is my choice.
