New Club Forums

We have now added a club message board (forum) to the website. We will start to post most things on there and then post the important stuff on Oople. The idea behind it is to add another social element to the club and to allow people to share setups and other useful information.

You can find the forum at www.yrcc.co.uk/forum and you can register at http://yrcc.co.uk/forum/register.php

New, New club forums!!

Due to a lot of spammers signing up on the club forums I have decided to move to more robust software. I had built the forum using Fluxbb which is a nice simple piece of forum software, unfortunately it doesn't have the best security features which is why we are getting a lot of spam. I happen to have a license free for Invision Power Board which is much more robust and will also allow us to do more with it.

I have turned off registration on the old boards and I am currently constructing the new one. I will let you all know when it is finished and registration is open. Unfortunately it does mean that you will all have to re-register. Luckily not many of you have registered and posted yet :eh?:
