Mardave V10 tyres??

Hi all,

I have had a Mardave V10 sat around for years and thought I would have a play around with it but the tyres are rubbish, I was wondering if anybody knew where I could get new tyres? or anywhere I could send my spare wheels to to get some mounted/trued?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Matt

Matt, try the Mardave website here, or the Contact website here.

Find out from your local club what works best at the track you want to race on. Tyres suit tracks, not cars, in this class so a quick ask is cheaper than buying one of everything to see what works!! HTH :)

He is talking about the V10 not the V12.

I dont actually know what tyres will fit, I'm also in the same boat as you mate. WGT tyres should fit, but I haven't actually been able to verify that.

Difficult to find correct tyres these days as most WGT tyres come premounted.

There are still several different tyres available that will fit, a foam tyre is still a foam tyre even though they aren't labelled as for a specific type of car. The RC4Less dirt oval donuts will fit, 40mm wide and in a selection of compounds. Tyres for 1/8th stock cars are the same size, available from Contact.
Corally still sell their Pro10 tyres as donuts, but you will have to get Modeltech to import them for you or buy them from Germany or the Corally themselves in the Netherlands where Pro10 is still popular.

Parma used to have pre trued Pro10 foams ready to mount on your wheels.

I think i might still have some sets of the Parma trued foams, and untrued donuts perhaps too. But these are nearly 20 years old, so not going to be as fresh as new.
